Riza Onchengco has a Master of Arts in Nursing, as well as a Bachelor degree in Nursing. Throughout her career, Riza acquired various certifications including Professional Nurse in Manila, Philippines and in the state of New York. She is New York certified in Hospital and Patient Review Instrument (HCI/PRI) and Screen and Certified Nurse Executive (C-NE) in New York.Riza is an experienced healthcare professional, who has has a 13 year background in MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessment and coordination, with a passion for providing quality care and ensuring all national regulatory compliance are met. Riza also played a crucial role in educating staff on the proper documentation and other healthcare coding requirements. She assisted in the creation and in the implementation of care plans tailored to individual residents' needs, provided continued education for MDS documentation and played a key role in notifying finance and IDT for any additional or necessary changes needed for Medicare determination. With her extensive experience, dedication to quality care and commitment to regulatory compliance, Riza continues to make a significant impact in the healthcare industry.
