"One person can make a difference, and everyone should try." -John Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridget Gallo serves as the Director of Social Work at Glengariff Health Care Center. She is a graduate of St. John’s University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Adelphi University obtaining her Master's Degree in Social Work. Bridget has been a geriatric social worker for over 23 years with extensive experience within the nursing home arena, as well as additional experience, which includes: counseling services in group homes and private practice, social work services for home care and consulting services for regulatory practices in skilled nursing homes. Bridget brings to us years of experience in nursing homes, which have included former positions as Director of Admissions, Program Coordinator for Medical Model Day Care, Director of Recreation, Clinical Evaluator and Director of Social Work. Bridget is a Licensed Master of Social Work, Certified Dementia Specialist and Post Graduate Certificate in Mental Health and Aging, and a member of NASW.
